Google Was Started in a Small Garage
You will be just amazed about how many companies, worth billions of dollars now, were started in a garage.
The Internet giant was started in a small garage owned by Susan Wojcicki in California. The young founders of the company - Larry Page and Sergey Brin rented the place for $1 700 monthly. Susan used the money to pay off some debt and ease her budget. They had worked there for 5 months and this actually was the first office of Google. 8 years later, the company purchased the garage, because it was an important part of its history.
