Elephants can swim
Elephants can not jump, but they are actually spectacular swimmers.
They have been documented swimming for up to 6 hrs without coming in contact with the bottom, and also have sailed as much as FORTY EIGHT km at a stretch and at speeds of up to Two km/h.
Elephants use all 4 legs to swim and also are able to proceed quickly, their entire body giving flotation while their trunk works such as a snorkel.
Their enjoy of swimming is a link to their water past. It is considered that elephants may get improved from a semi-aquatic relatives, which is backed up by their internal sexual parts and special snorkel-like trunk.
